The staff were very kind and accommodating. The room is clean, it does smell musty and of stale cigarette smoke but not overwhelmingly so. Shower works, wifi is stable and everything I need is available nearby.
Marking this one excellent because of my experience with Al at the front desk. The world is like a house… I’ll remember our conversation for a long time to come, thanks dude. The room is clean, bed was nicely made, and it’s got all the amenities you need, plus it’s dirt cheap, perfect for somebody travelling through. I’d come back again.
Great prices. You get what you pay for so not awesome, but it was a clean bed and room. Air conditioner crapped out but it was cool enough at night to open windows to let out the stuffiness. Was grateful for a good rest. Staff was very friendly and allowed me a late checkout at noon so my bird could remain safe in the room while I visited the local museum. Thankyou for the comfy bed and peaceful night.
I think this place was completely fine and I don’t see why people moaned for the price. We had no issues. Good location. The room stank a bit when we went in there but we opened the windows and aired it out.
Didn't John Wayne stay here back in 63 when he came to meet the Queen? If staying here in today's day and age careful not to stubb your toe on the bed legs.
There's not much to complain about at these rates. You get a bed and a bathroom with a shower. It's older but I didn't really mind that. The only thing I didn't really like was the stale cigarette smell in the room but since I carry essential oils I just put some under my nose and that helped but really at the price, there's not much to complain about.
The staff here are outstanding! One staff member ran a block down the road in the heat after our car to return a pill case we dropped without noticing. The rooms are aging, but clean. An added bonus was the excellent choice in toiletries. Very good quality and scent. And the price! Amazing price in even peak holiday season. 5 stars!
Very good value. Where else will you find a room for less than $70 in peak season? It is very very basic, but clean and safe. The rooms are tiny so I would not stay here for an extended time, but perfect for a budget traveller who is stopping over for the night. Sadly the iconic restaurant burned down recently, so I was not able to relive my memories of that kitschy cowboy saloon atmosphere. Our room smelled slightly of tobacco smoke - not sure if they all do. Check in and check out is done through the convenience store at the attached gas station.
Its not a five star hotel but its not supposed to be. Reasonably priced for a quick night stop and shower. We have been staying here once a year for 6 years and honestly when my husband brought me here for the first time I was shocked and said no way. But the room was clean and no smells (even though you think there might be). We have met so many people with great stories. Ya, its not a looker but for $70 what do you want!
It isn’t the best but this motel was a life saver. We came to Revelstoke without a reservation and all other hotels were fully booked. Wouldn’t recommend for family with kids though.
